Physical and Health Education

On this page I outline some of the work I have recently been involved with or developed as an MYP Physical and Health Education Practitioner.

IB MYP Physical and Health Education

This book is a conceptually driven MYP Physical and Health Education book aimed at Grade 9 to 10 (MYP 4 & 5) students. It is  a student and teacher companion aimed at aiding units based on a variety of fields. The book is written in a way for students and teachers to access learning experiences involving ATL skills and formative and summative assessment tasks which inquiry into the concepts and global context explorations of each chapter. Each chapter is linked to a unit of work.

Podcast

A podcast series on elements of MYP Physical and Health Education focusing on the Inquiry part of the unit planner.
​The first series explores the conceptual inquiry where as the second series explores inquiry even further.

In 2015, the Physical and Health Education in the MYP Group was established as a space for sharing ideas, asking questions and collaborating with other practitioners. This is a website I continue to develop to aid practitioners of MYP PHE.
